About Me and FAQ!


Hey guys! This will be an FAQ post where I answer all of the oh-so-burning questions. Enjoy! 


What's your real name? Do you have a nickname? My real name is Sarah Bethany, and I do not have a nickname. I used to be a princess, but I didn't like all the dresses and parties, so Sarah, Miss Sarah, or Comrade Sarah is fine:). 

What's with that background? I was just browsing the default backgrounds and I thought it was cool to have recycling symbols, as I am an environmentalist:). 

How did you get your profile picture looking so good? I just took it on my iPod touch and added some cool lighting effects and black and white from the options menu in the photos app. 

What's with the blog title? Well, I am a little dreamer, and my favorite game is Super Mario Galaxy and galaxies encompass everything. 

What's with the username? So, you a commie then? Maybe....No, not really. I'm just not a princess anymore. I do miss the old username, XD. I didn't want to sound like pretentious royalty. 

So you said you're a gamer? Isn't that, like, a guy thing? No. Gender equality for the people:).

Okay, cool. So what games do you play? Call of Duty? Minecraft? Cooking Mama? GTA V? No, lol. I mostly play Nintendo games. 

Oooooh, cool! So you like Zelda? A little bit. 

So, what consoles do you own? Which ones do you want to get? I'm a big fan of retro games and I am borrowing my best friend's N64, but I need to get my own. I also want a GameCube, a SNES, a Genesis, and maybe a PS1. I currently own a Wii U and a 3ds. I don't have too many compelling reasons to buy a Switch, other than Odyssey of course, so I'll probably wait on that. I do have limited gaming funds. 

So, then what's your favorite game series? Super Mario. 

Have you played all the games? Most of them. I haven't played Sunshine or Odyssey yet. 

Top ten favorite games? Oh, joy. Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros for Wii U, Super Mario Bros 3, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Pac-Man, Mega Man 2. I think that's pretty good. It changes, but the top two are unlikely to change. 

Why Galaxy? It's fun, has unique levels and gravity mechanics, was my first 3D game, has great music, levels feel like favorite vacation spots and the hub world feels like home, I'm so good at it now that the levels aren't even frustrating or annoying, it looks good for an early Wii Game, controls great most of the time, some of the best bosses in the series...I could go on. 

Why not Galaxy 2? It's a better game and it has Yoshi: Yes, I agree that the levels are more unique and better designed, the game has better graphics and camera, and Yoshi is my favorite Nintendo character, but I have a personal homey feeling with the original Galaxy that can never be replicated. It's like a warm blanket.
So, do you, like, watch TV? Not really. I don't like American TV and ads. I sometimes but very rarely turn on a sport game or a game show or a cooking show, and doze off. I will watch the Olympics and the Super Bowl, and the Thanksgiving Parade. That's about it. I do watch some Twitch though, and my favorite streamer is darbian. 

What about movies? Yes. I watch one every week, sometimes more. 

Favorite movie genres then? Aside from Disney/Pixar animated movies I would say action/adventure, action, historical drama, drama, anything with a good storyline and characters. 

What are movies you don't watch? I don't watch horror movies at all. I don't usually watch purely romance or comedy movies. 

So, what are a few of your favorites? All of the Star Wars movies, but Empire Strikes Back is my favorite Star Wars and therefore my favorite movie. I like a lot of animated movies, and Zootopia is my favorite. I grew up with A Bug's Life and Toy Story 2, especially. 

Last movie you saw? White Nights. 

Least favorite movie ever? Chicken Run. Creeped me out as a kid; still does. 

What movies have you seen in theaters in the last three years? Inside Out, The Force Awakens, Zootopia, Moana, Rogue One, Hidden Figures, Beauty and the Beast (2017), Despicable Me 3, Coco, The Last Jedi. Those are the ones I can think of. 

What movies are you going to see in 2018? A Wrinkle in Time, Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Incredibles 2. Possibly the next Fantastic Beasts or Wreck-it-Ralph 2. 

What movie can't you wait for? Star Wars Episode 9! Duh!.

Loki and Ingrid 52--FINAL PART

Endings and Beginnings Five years later~ I’m sitting alone again in my room, pouring over ancient Midgardian volumes that Thor had found in school.
